Where It Runs

The machine that holds your music runs Microgamma: a laptop you already use, a home server, a NAS, or a Raspberry Pi tucked behind the amplifier.

Everything else — phones, tablets, other computers — just opens play.microgamma.io and connects to it. Nothing to install on those.

Run it yourself — Docker

Prefer to self-host? Microgamma ships as a public, multi-architecture Docker image — run it headless on a home server, a NAS, or a Raspberry Pi. Pull the image and Docker automatically picks the right build for your machine (Intel or Apple Silicon / ARM).

:latest always points at the current release; every release is also published under its own version tag if you'd rather pin one. See the Docker guide for first-run setup and running headless — or the Headless Mode docs to run it without a container.
